If we go back to normal, I can show you one of the possible entrances to the Bridge that I know of. You might have better luck than us.
[His ulterior motive here is that whatever the light it is that he saw, the magic feels like Old God stuff, and constructs are highly immune to it. As far as he's been able to tell, anyway.]
