I am not belittling your resilience nor your practices. But you had to deal with not only a human's emotional state, but my emotional state. I know from experience that it is an unpleasant thing to have to deal with, and I would not wish it on you. Therefore, I am concerned.

I am not expecting it to be so. Nevertheless, both good manners and my consideration for you caused me to express a certain concern. Life is greatly simplified without emotions. Which means that to a naturally emotionless being, they must have complicated things, albeit temporarily.

But you'd consider this insulting from me. You would feel patronised, because you're aware it would be without the same meaning someone of your species would attach to it. It would lack the sentiment and be rendered either pointless or counter-productive.

Would my saying I appreciate your concern suffice? It lacks emphasis, but you require honesty.
